In the wee hours of the morning, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson airs and I have this irresistible desire to watch him and see what he is up to now. His rugged good looks are reminiscent of Dean Martin's, who was one of my favorite celebrities. Dean would have a drink in his hand pretending to be intoxicated. That's hard to do when you are swallowing iced tea. His antics were silly and slightly mocking, but entertaining. Craig reminds me of Dean and he is most definitely silly. His Scottish accent and winning smile charm me most times, even when he is being extremely naughty. The glint... Read More

I can’t remember the last time I sat through an entire award show just for the sake of watching the awards handed out. Yet that’s the position I found myself in on Sunday night, sitting back on my couch watching the 2011 Golden Globe Awards. Then somewhere after Ricky Gervais’ opening monologue, one thought kept tumbling in my mind, “Dying is easy. Comedy is hard.”

Gervais (despite his British sense of humor) can be funny, but Sunday night at the Golden Globes was not his night. His opening monologue turned into a case study for all would-be-comics of how when humor fails to illicit... Read More

Things in The Big Bang Theory turned the heat up — in the most interesting way possible. In this episode, The Alien Parasite Hypothesis, Amy Fowler (Mayim Bialik) meets Penny’s ex Zack (Brian Smith) and experiences incoherent speech, among other symptoms.

After an analysis participated on by Sheldon (Jim Parsons), no less, Amy concludes that she is sexually attracted to Zack. Sheldon refuses to accept this and would rather believe the possibility of an alien parasite. Amy accuses him of being jealous and he storms out. If this was true, then it’s probably the first time Sheldon showed... Read More

Nothing makes singing acceptable quite like the holidays — well, at least McKinley High’s gleeks thought so. In this week’s episode of Glee, the gang tries to help raise funds for a charity by caroling inside the classrooms. This, however, was met with a hostile reception from the students and one really pissed off teacher.

Meanwhile, Sue (Jane Lynch) sabotages the Faculty’s “Secret Santa” by writing her name on all the papers. Unfortunately, Will (Matthew Morrison), Emma (Jayma Mays) and Coach Beiste (Dot-Marie Jones) already bought their presents when they learned about the scam.

TRU TV’s latest entry in the realm of “Reality” TV is a show aptly named “Conspiracy Theory” hosted by that pillar of investigative journalism Jesse Ventura. By all accounts, TRU TV has the perfect show to go heads up with the History Channel’s “Monsterquest”, the Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventures”, and Nickelodeon’s reruns of “Gilligan’s Island”. No doubt this is a proud moment in the annals of reality TV and industry analysts confidently predict that “Conspiracy Theory” will be a popular and successful vehicle for the sale of feminine hygiene products, erectile dysfunction medications and... There isn’t enough gross stuff on TV so the Travel Channel decided to find some fat guy with the taste buds of a clam and jet him around the world playing “Dare you to eat this.” The fat guy has a name: Andrew Zimmern and from the looks of things, there isn’t anything (so far) he won’t eat. It boggles the mind to contemplate who Mr. Zimmern had to sleep with to get this job as there had to be a number of talented people vying for this coveted assignment. Actually after Rosie O’Donnell, John Goodman, and Kristie Alley, the candidate pool gets a bit thin (no pun intended). The really strange... Read More

True Blood aims to keep on top of the competition in maintaining their record of more than 4 million viewers per year. They gained 4.28 million last 2009 and 4.83 million just as of August 15, 2010, when the 9th episode of the 3rd season was aired, according to en.wikipedia.org.

"True Blood is simply the best TV show on Earth today." This is the very statement that the contributors of this addictive TV show is trying to say as it is aiming for the number one and for the millions again.

True Blood had been very successful in maintaing their record for two years. Though, they earn... Read More
