I loved someone with a genuine love. It was not returned to me and in fact, I was spurned. I turned away, saddened by my gullibility at having opened up like I did. After a time of mulling on the lost love, I realized, I still loved that person and by having that love, I discovered things about myself that were lost to me before. I learned to dance, and, I found my gift of music that was lost for many years. So then, I ask myself, “should I look on this as a bad thing?” I say, NO! I am the richer for having loved than holding myself back. Loving brings to us, the person doing the loving,... Read More

To The Masses…

A message more precisely intended for the evolving entity of Big Brother, as I am well aware that you will be reading this, have you not already done so. I will admit, You have succeeded, to a certain acute degree, in the intimidation department. This was undeniable, as I found myself in an eventual state of complete fear, consumed with hesitation by the impending possibilities of danger within this rapidly evolving and intruding technology of yours.

I can put my computer on my phone and my phone on my computer. I have an application for applications and... Read More

She is the tiny voice that sings "I am"

in the gloom of darkest night.

She is the Song of the Soul

revealing itself,

reveling in tiny moments of truth.

She is the pulse that quivers with hope

in the rubble of man's discontent,

and the flame of commitment

in the rearing of a child.

She lays a gentle sheen

on the tired world on a moonless night,

filling hollows and thickets and stark rooms

with murmurs of inspiration.

She quells the thirst for empty pleasures

and rides the waves of painful days.

Her day was spinning out of control. Not a single thing was going right since the coffee pot broke this morning before her first sip.

The kids were fighting. The baby was whining. Her husband couldn't find something. Before she could yell at him to actually move items around to find it, she scooped up her car keys and purse and headed out the door without so much as a word to any of them.

I had to get out of there. I couldn't take it anymore. The guilt is pulling me by the hair in the wrong direction. The anxiety is crippling me. Now what, where am I going? She drove with no... Read More

I am an open book read by all.

No one gets the same message

But there is something for anyone

That wants to read or listen

Or just look at the pictures.

Mystery-comedy-drama-action

I reflect myself most of the time

Because I tend to choose my own path

And stare at my face in the mirror more than others.

Try the most part to mold my self

Into my,"own", role model.

To be who I most want to be like.

Find myself that I love so

Then, I can see clearly some love in everybody.

Next, I find the good... Read More

High above an abandon quarry, under a starlit night, stood Mickey. His back was faced away from the chasm as he stared down the center of Clyde's revolver. Among dry desert dirt, on her hands and knees, crying, is the love of his life. Sand and tears caked one side of her face and the man who stood above her with a gun pointed at the back of her head was Clyde's right-hand man, Glen. A cloud covered the moon leaving Mickey in a dark shadow. Clyde pulled the trigger and the bullet tore through Mickey's skull, tossing his head back and lifting his feet off the ground and into the chasm.

As... Read More

What doesn't make sense? Everything. All these years gone by and still the same issue. How does one recognize real love? I'm not without some bit of understanding. Yes, I know that love is more than an emotion. I know love is action and sticking through the worst of times and not just enjoying the ride...er relationship. But I'm sick. I really mean it. My stomach gets all turned upside down even thinking about it.

Why can't love be like a great meal? I love shrimp cocktail, Caeser salad, T-bone steak or Prime rib. And oh, let's consider a nice chocolate mousse. But I can't find it made... Read More

I know Rigina, when it takes a week for legite comments to appear it is upsetting, and it is killing the site slowly. Surely there must be a better way to address the spammers and floggers. Also taking away ratings if you do not post in a period of...
