Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight have been found alive in Cleveland, Ohio, police have confirmed.

Newscenters have reported that a woman claiming to be Amanda Berry phoned 911 Monday afternoon and told a dispatcher that she was in a house on Seymour Avenue on the city's West Side. The woman said DeJesus was with her.

A third female, Michelle Knight, who has been missing since 2002, was also in the house.

The women are reported to be at Metro Hospital and their families have been contacted and they are all reunited. The tears are countless, and this is truly... Read More

I do love super heroes; in fact I am a big fan of many like the man of steel, the dark night and the web slinger. Their costumes, style and never ending desire to help others are more than enough traits one expects from a super hero. More than a fictional character build as a protector of law and order; they represent or even remain as an idol for the true values of humanity that most of us are only capable of thinking. Can a human being be a super hero, not necessarily in muscle and style but in values, can one uplift the conserved minds in his society by his own life as an example. There... Read More

Austin, Texas - The "homeless hotspot initiative" was launched Thursday at the SXSW conference where homeless people are wearing T-Shirts with:

"I'm a 4G hotspot" on them, during the extremely popular, high tech part of the conference. "Users" can connect to the "homeless" hotspot for $2 for 15 minutes of access. This is certainly a different take on Social WiFi.

Is this genius or horrendous?

I have surprised people since I was barely two years old with my mastery of language. Probably because I am tiny, words are my defense against anyone who threatens me. According to friends, my words do disarm antagonists. An attempted rape serves as a dramatic illustration of power of words to protect in a real life crisis.

I had walked home from the university, my arms filled with books and turned to walk towards the house I shared with four other girls. I barely glanced at the pick-up truck parked right in front of our sidewalk. A tall, athletic young man poked his head from under... Read More

Few days back my love called me, she was furious on the phone about something; she kept on cursing nonspecifically and was indefinitely shouting at me. I have never seen her like this before, so as I wondered why she was acting such, suddenly everything went silent on the other side and all that hate in her voice turned into puling. She was weeping hard now, I normally feel sad when I see someone crying and when that someone is very close to me, my eyes will wet unwittingly. With a concerned voice I asked her what happened and she told me about a mail that came to her inbox that same day which... Read More

'Mother, I want to live'… This is what the girl, who was brutally raped and wrote on a piece of paper.

The brutal gang rape of 23 year old girl in a moving bus and that too on busy road, in New Delhi has shocked the nation. Something is terribly wrong with my country. Every day we have been hearing news of crime against women and this horrific incident has once again made me believe that this country is heading towards anarchy.

Why that our women are unsafe? Do we need to have such horrific incident to awaken us from the slumber? Do we have to believe, the shady assurances of... Read More

If Paris is beige Amsterdam is red, brick red to be exact. It’s a compact city, really quite charming in many ways, a city of museums and canals, the city of Van Gogh and Rembrandt.

I was there a couple of years ago, walking everywhere because it’s possible to walk everywhere, all the attractions being within a reasonably close distance of one another. It was pleasant to give way to the city’s easy charm, at least by day, because it is charming by day. The night is different; the night is darker; the night is a deeper shade of red.

We stayed in the Grand, once a medieval convent... Read More
